What is a personal computer without some really cool add-ons? Can you imagine operating your computer without PC add-ons like the mouse, keyboard, printer, scanner, and speaker? So, it is safe to say that working on a computer is simply unimaginable without these add-ons.

The mouse and the keyboard are two of the most basic and the most important PC add-ons required for your computer. The importance of these add-ons need not be emphasized as anyone who has seen a PC in his lifetime knows that these are two of the most basic components of a computer. A lot of people these days prefer wireless keyboard and mouse which are ergonomically designed and suited for people who spend a lot of time working on the computer.
Printers
Printers are one of the important PC add-ons which are needed for people who print a lot of documents. At the age of e-tickets and e-bills, a printer can help you save a lot of time. Do you want to watch a movie? You can book the tickets online and take a printout. Do you want to book a train ticket or an airline ticket? You can do it online and take a printout. You can store something in a USB flash drive, put it in your pocket, plug it in a PC anywhere in the world and access the information without any trouble. So, these external storage devices are considered one of the most essential PC add-ons today. If you are very particular about security, you can go for enclosed external hard drives which can store your data very safely.
I have tried downloads, on a variety of computers, which run everything from Windows 95, right up through XP. On every computer that I have ever tried, I have tried to stay on “safe” sites, such as Download.com, to download operations programs, screensavers, and so on (Download.com is just an example, of dozens of so-called web-sites I have tried). Wouldn’t you know it, though. At evewry single site, that I can mention, I have brought back viruses, worms, and “tons” of spy-ware. And this is from the “clean”, “safe”, web-sites. I know that the best hackers can penetrate any connection, including D.S.L., dial-up, and any other connection, to inject bad codes into home computers. How can internet users “safely” use the internet, without having to worry about hackers, and corporations, “injecting” garbage into our computers? Any suggestions would be appreciated. santoramaa
