Can dell power supplys be updraded? specifically a dell dimension 9200?
HI,
I want to install a new power supply in my dell dimension 9200 desktop. The thing is I am not sure if I can do it or not, I have heard conflicting arguments. I basiacaly need a new psu so I can upgrade my graphics card to a 9200 GTX.

Yes, you can. Though, if you have a warranty it will void it.
Though most prebuilt companies use specialized parts that you need to buy from them, or some specialized companies. And usually cost a lot more then a standard part. I'm not sure if Dell does this or not anymore though.
