External Hard Drive question?
I have a Lacie External HDD, and a DVD player with a USB connection (so i can play moves when i connect it to the dvd player).
I have recently seen in a computer show, a Packard Bell external disk drive that allows connection to a TV directly, and supports MP2 and Divx playback.
I assume there is some software on the PB disk drive which allows it to connect to the TV. Does anyone know if it is possible to install this type of software on a regular external harddrive?

No. I am guessing that what you saw accomplished this by either putting a tiny computer inside the drive or the TV. Either way, it is nothing you can do yourself. You would need to attach the drive to an old computer or something, and then plug that into the TV. Even then, it would probably be lower quality, especially if this is a very old computer.
