I received a Wireless notebook adapter with a router and was wondering how to use it.?
Is it something i use with my Laptop I have a wireless Dell Inspiron 6000 and was just wondering if its something that I use with this laptop or if its something that is used with laptops that aren't wireless.
the network card is a Linskys Dual Band Wireless A & G Notebook adapter 5 GHz 802.11a 2.4 GHz 54 g. thanks for your responses
If your laptop is already wireless compatible (meaning it has it built-in), then you don't need the notebook adapter that came with the router. You can sell it on ebay or keep it around for friends who have older laptops.
If you do not have wireless built-in, then you will need to install the notebook adapter so that you will have access wirelessly to your router.
