If my printer only has one USB jack, can I buy an adapter and make it work for two printers at once?
My USB printer only has one jack on the back suggesting it can only be used by one printer at a time. If I buy an adapter that forks into two lines can I use this to allow two computers to share the printer?
Sure if it is a USB switch box. There are two better options.
1) Get a print server. It will allow you to put the printer on the network and you access it through Ethernet.
2) Install it on one computer and then share it.
