OK to store printer ink for a few months?
I was going to buy a double pack of black and color ink but we just bought black ink about a month ago so the black wouldn't be used right away. The color ink we had was still NIB but it had been sitting for a few years (cuz of my mom's bf) and it doesn't print the yellow or blue, just the red/pink and my mom said it's probably because it's so old the ink could have evaporated. So if we get the double pack and put the black ink in storage til we need it (prob a few months from now, there's 5 of us using this printer constantly) will it still work properly?

NIB for up to a year should be OK. On the old ink, I would be more inclined to think the ink in the cartridge nozzle dried up. Try wiping it with a moist paper towel. It may take some work to unplug it.
