buying a vinyl plotter / printer + heat sealer?
Hi, I run a site www.ds-lite-skins.com manufacturing a unique range of vinyl iPod decals.
I have been getting these printed at a 3rd party company but want to consider getting my own vinyl printer.
There are 3 things which need to be done:
1) The designs need to be printed onto high quality vinyl (my supplier tells me they use Grafityp S12, if that makes sense to you)
2) They need to be contour cut so they "fit" to an iPod
3) They need a scratch resistant foil applied to them.
I know step 3 may be a separate machine, but leaving that aside can you reccomend one to me?
Ideally I want to spend no more than around £750.
The DPI should be at least 150. No particular speed is needed.

You budget is unreasonable. A heat sealer which can effectively seal vinyl without distortion or melting (ie. Very consistant temperature) will cost you the $1500. Tack on another $3000 base for a plotter. That is only an entry level 2 foot with roll capabilities.
