how do I hook up a dell inspiron mini to a printer?
How do I print what I write from my dell inspiron mini? How do I hook up printer? It has a usb plug. Do I need an external disc drive? Thank you!
If the printer connects through the computer through a USB port (not sure what you mean by "it has a usb plug"....it as in the printer?) then just connect it.

Because its a netbook you have, you will have to download and install the driver software from the internet, unless you have a cd-rom drive (internal or external) to load the cd [assuming you have the cd].
If you don't have the cd, or do have it but don't have a CD-ROM drive, you will have to download the software online. Just search for

Substituting the appropriate values for your printer above.
It should be a .exe file and rather large in size (could be around 200 MB depending on your brand).
Just run that setup you find and download and it will guide you through the installation process.
