If I sign into Wifi with my Tablet Am I being charged?
I have WiFI at work and a wireless router at home. I have a tablet through a phone company with a internet package, if I sign in to the wifi or network am I being charged by my phone company for that usage or is it free?
Nope - since WiFi doesn't use the data plan you're getting from the phone company, they won't charge you extra for using it.
This is true on all phones and tablets that include a data plan from a phone company.
BUT... even if you ONLY use WiFi, and never use Internet on the tablet anywhere outside of home or work, you may still need to pay for the data plan; it depends on the type of plan you have.
