i need help with my samsung s8300v (tocco ultra edition) mobile phone?
I have recently got the samsung s8300 tocco ultra edition mobile phone, i have 3 signs im not sure of at the top, i know one of them is the bluetooth sign and not sure how to take it off, the other looks like a memory card sign, and there is a big G sign at the left top corner near the signal sign sometimes says 3g not sure how to take these signs off, also i have having trouble loading my pictures on the software on my pc i havent a clue how to use this phone, can anyone give me advice and tell me some of the good features on this phone cause im finding it hard work lol. I had the nokia n95 before and was very easy to use and also had one button you pressed to close all features on the phone, i am pressing all the wrong buttons and when am on the phone im pressing wrong buttons with my ear and then it ends the call lol. Please help
Hi there. The Tocco Ultra is actually a really good phone. Far better than the N95 which i found to be very clunky. The icons at teh very top of the screen are there to stay. They're battery, signal strength, whether you're in range of 3G or 3G+ (for high speed internet), memory card, bluetooth, text/MMX/email message and so on. You can't get rid, but then why would you when it's info you'd need?
If you go into settings and go to Memory Settings and change Default Memory for photos and video to memory Card, you can plug the phone in with USB and choose Mass Storage - it'll then just come up like an external hard drive and you won't need the software.
To close an application, in most instances, just press teh end call button and that cancels. The phone has a proximity detector so, when it's at your ear it automatically goes dark and locks to avoid pressing anything you shouldn't.
